Homer

Blanche and I took a drive down to Homer after I quit my job. It was a great trip as we stopped at her friend's house in Soldotna for the night on the way down and the way up. Much time was spent dinking around art galleries and drinking coffee. We also stopped in Seward and checked out the sealife center. One of my favorite points of interest is Nomad Yurts. I could tell Blanche was disappointed in the large cloudiness factor. She kept thinking I wouldn't believe there was actually mountains and ocean to see. But the overcast skies did provide for some good lighting opportunities. Click here to see the expanded slideshow of the trip.

Something to keep track of my crazy ideas

I started a blog to monitor my progress of ideas... and then the building of my little house on wheels. You might find it interesting, but it is a better way for me to keep track of my scheming.

I'm off.

I have been off work since Tuesday. I quit. The nice way to put it is that they weren't very nice to me.

Now I am off to coffee, the post office, and ice cream.

Tomorrow I'm off with Blanche to visit the Kenai Peninsula for five days.

Shortly after I'll be off to see Fairbanks.

I will be off to Washington mid December to live in my parent's trailer, fix appliances (or be my dad's back and knees while pretending that I know what I'm doing), and build a tiny house on wheels.
